Arab_World_Green.svg

The Arab Foundations Forum (AFF) has spent the past two years studying the landscape in which the forum functions. AFF, as a membership-based network of philanthropic foundations based in and/or working in the Arab region, is uniquely positioned to canvass the region’s donors, grantmakers, and civil society players, and to draw conclusions about the state of the region’s philanthropic sector. Screen Shot 2016-07-22 at 17.06.29

In 2012, WINGS launched the first-ever study on support to grantmakers and private social investors globally – Infrastructure in Focus: A Global Picture of Organizations Serving Philanthropy. This report was a starting point to build a comprehensive picture of the characteristics and growth patterns of the global philanthropy infrastructure.

It is now time to update the first report and go further on mapping philanthropy infrastructure globally. This second report will be informed by newly-gathered data that is being collected from WINGS members and launched during WINGSForum 2017. If you are a member, don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this global picture of organizations serving philanthropy. Reach out to our Knowledge Management Coordinator, Pamela Ribiero
