How much recovery you can see happening in Nepal since last year’s earthquakes depends on where you’re standing. Though signs of devastation are everywhere, you can see glimmers of hope and renewal on school constructions sites, at community stakeholder meetings, and in counseling centers. Join us to find out more about long-term recovery challenges and opportunities in Nepal.

Center for Disaster Philanthropy Vice President Regine Webster will moderate the discussion that includes:

  • Dr. George Varughese, Nepal Country Representative, The Asia Foundation
  • Mattias Bryneson, Country Director, Plan International Nepal
  • Anna R. Hurt, CDP Disaster Management Analyst

Get on-the-ground insights from the #CDP4Nepal journey and hear how the Nepal Earthquake Recovery Fund is reaching more than 22K children and citizens. Find out how the daily struggles for electricity, fuel, and clean water are impacting the recovery and rebuilding efforts. Speakers will discuss possible avenues of donor action.
