The devastating Nepal earthquake is still much on our minds. One of our worries, however, is that as time passes and media interest starts to wane, so will people’s interest in responding.
But, as we know from past disasters, much work lies ahead for Nepal — and the full support of the donor community will be key to helping rebuild the shattered nation.
We recently held a webinar, with the Council on Foundations, to discuss ways donors can make sure their giving can make a long-term difference to the people of Nepal. You can read about the webinar and listen to a replay here.
I also want to alert you to another webinar we’re holding Tuesday 12 May from 3 pm to 4 pm ET that will explore, with several experts, how we can better use technology to respond to disasters.
