WINGS founder recognised for lifetime of outstanding service

patten_250Join us in congratulating Monica Patten, Community Foundations of Canada’s first CEO and a founder of WINGS, on being invested into the Order of Canada for a lifetime of outstanding service to the country and the community foundation movement. For more than two decades, Patten led the community foundation movement, presiding over a period of unprecedented growth and acting as a champion of community philanthropy around the world.

Patten has also contributed countless hours to boards and other volunteer opportunities, including the Anglican Church of Canada, where she is currently interim director of the Resources for Mission department.

Give to the Monica Patten Endowment Fund: To date more than 75 donors have given over $150,000 to support the development of our community foundation movement for generations to come.
