Through a series of successful consultations, the work towards a Global Philanthropy Data Charter is steadily advancing. Two face-to-face meetings and two webinars were followed by a third webinar, held on 8 October.
Twenty participants from ten countries reviewed the Charter, presenting their perspectives and sharing experiences on data collection projects and partnerships. Diverse input from people in different regions is essential for a representative and truly global Charter. As WINGS moves forward on the consultation process, an invitation-only working meeting will take place in Rio de Janeiro from 4-5 November. It will further develop the document, assess progress and discuss next steps.
